In a reflexology session, the client lies face up and remains fully clothed except for shoes and socks which are removed for foot reflexology work. However, socks may be left on for a foot reflexology session per a client’s comfort level. If you anticipate this preference, please wear your thinnest socks.
During an initial session, client health history, concerns, and intentions for the session are discussed. A La Fuma anti-gravity chair is used during the session. It has weight capacity of 240lbs. If you feel you require an alternative, please contact me in advance so that other arrangements can be made.
I use Flying Wild Cream, both scented and unscented options are available, which is applied to the hands and feet.
I am located on the ground floor with an exterior entrance. There are six steps that lead down to the entrance.
Both foot and hand reflexology sessions involve a combination of smooth, effleurage movements, and alternating pressure applied by the thumbs and fingers, working the entire foot to just above the ankle bone, and the entire hand to about mid-forearm. Auricular Reflexology involves the pressing on and holding of points on the outer ear with the tips of the fingers.
