FAQs
What if my feet are ticklish?
I have worked with clients with varying degrees of sensitivity and found multiple ways to accommodate their body’s natural tendencies. Sometimes this means avoiding an area altogether. Often it is just a matter of adjusting the pressure and techniques that are used. We will work together to adjust the session to suit you.
Do I have to take off my clothes?
Reflexology does not require the client to disrobe. Typically, socks are removed for working on the feet, but reflexology can also be performed over a thin sock if that is the preference.
I have a sensitivity to fragrance. Can you accommodate that?
I, too, am sensitive to fragrance and avoid heavy scents in both my space and on my person. And while I have several scented reflexology creams such as lavender, chamomile, and frankincense which I would consider “unobtrusively scented”, I also have unscented reflexology cream available.
What if I wanted to book an appointment, but could not find a time that worked for me?
Please reach out to me at integratingtouch@gmail.com, and we will see if we can find a solution.
I would like to drop in on my lunch break. Can I return to work after a session?
Depends. People have varying responses to a session. Some people feel energized and alert, while others feel a little sluggish, while others still feel that they absolutely must lie down for a nap. Just be mindful about what demands you are requesting of yourself post-session, especially if you are new to reflexology.
Do you offer gift certificates?
I sure do! Reflexology makes a wonderful gift. Contact me at integratingtouch@gmail.com.
I have an injury. Can you accommodate that?
Most likely. Each session is customized, so we can work around the injury or avoid the area entirely. Feel free to reach out to me with specifics and we can craft a session that can adjust to your body.
