Covid Considerations:

  • I am fully vaccinated and double boosted.

  • With the current low rate of infections in our area, I am moving to a masks optional policy for clients.

  • If you are feeling unwell or suspect you may be infected with Covid-19, please, for my sake and the sake of all the other people who pass through my doors, cancel your appointment. Let’s keep working to take care of one another.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy:

Life can certainly be unpredictable at times, but in an effort to be effective and fair to all clients, the following polices are in place: 

    • 24 hours advanced notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. As a courtesy, however, the first instance will be waived of this policy. PLEASE cancel and reschedule if you are sick.
      ‘No-shows’ will be charged the full standard rate for the missed session, and no further sessions may be booked until balance is paid in full. The first instance will be waived as a courtesy.

Late Policy:

If you are late to your appointment, your appointment will still end as scheduled and cost will not be prorated. If you are more than 15 minutes late and have not called, I reserve the right to close.

Insurance:

Reflexology is not currently covered by most insurance policies in the United States. However, some Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Healthcare Savings Accounts (HSA) may pay for reflexology sessions. Reflexology is considered a CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) in the same category as chiropractic care and acupuncture, and it is possible that your insurance provider may cover it. Please check with them to see if that is the case as well as how you may be reimbursed through them for the expense.

Right of Refusal:

I maintain the right to refuse service to any client who arrives under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or who engages in inappropriate sexual conduct or conversation. The session will be billed in full, and the client forfeits their right to refund or recompense for the missed time. 

Limitations:

Reflexology is not meant to function as a replacement for medical care. If you are suffering from a medical emergency, please contact your doctor or 911.
